Yāma Heaven　夜摩天 The third of the six heavens in the world of desire located high above Mount Sumeru. Yāma, lit., “well-regulated”. Also refers to the deity abiding there. One day and night in this heaven is equal to two hundred years in the realm of human beings, and the life span of the deity is said to be two thousand years.
