Land of Peace and Happiness　安楽[国] Refers to Amida’s Pure Land. The original Sanskrit word sukhāvatī, meaning “possessed of happiness”, is used in our series synonymously with “land of peace” and “land of perfect bliss”. Descriptions of this land are found in the Three Pure Land Sutras.
