Jīvaka　耆婆 The son of King Bimbisāra’s younger brother, who was a physician well known for curing the Buddha and King Bimbisāra. Along with Candraprabha he dissuaded Ajātaśatru from killing Vaidehī, and later he guided him to the Buddha’s teaching.
