Bhikṣu Dharmākara　法蔵比丘 Lit., “storage of dharma”. According to the Larger Sutra, he is the bodhisattva who made the Forty-eight Vows and, by fulfilling them, became the Buddha of Immeasurable Life, i.e., Amida Buddha.
