cacravartin king　転輪聖王 Lit., “wheel-turning king”. An ideal king as conceived in ancient India, who rules the world by using a wheel called cakra. Since the Buddha rules the world without obstruction by turning the wheel of the Dharma, he is likened to such king. See wheel of the dharma.
