Buddha-landใ€€ไปๅœŸ The sphere of activity of a Buddha which comes into existence as the reward for the completion of bodhisattva vows and practices. Mahayana Buddhism conceives of innumerable such Buddha-lands in its cosmology. The Larger Sutra emphasizes the Buddha-land of the Buddha of Immeasurable Life (Amida), which is called the Pure Land.
