Bodhiruci 菩提流支 (circa 6th cent.) A monk from Northern India who went to Lo-yang in the first year of Yung-p’ing (Yongping) era (508-511) during Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534) and lived in Yung-ning ssŭ (Yongning si), where he was engaged in the translation of some sutras and commentaries including Vasubandhu’s Treatise on Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra, and so on.
