Bimbisāra　頻婆娑羅 King of Magadha, who is said to have been the first patron of the Buddhist order and have donated the Banboo Forest Monastery (Veṇuvana Vihāra) to the Buddha. In his last years he was imprisoned by his son Ajātaśatru and was starved to death.
